This panel is part of an international investor conference. It deals with the potential accession of Turkey to the European Union. S1 is the chairperson and S2, S3 and S4 are the three panellists. The three panellists are introduced by S1 and then elaborate individually on political and economic issues regarding Turkey and Europe. After about 35 minutes, the audience is invited to ask questions, five of which are answered by the panel. The discussion revolves around Turkey's potential application for membership in the European Union and the economic, political and cultural issues connected with this. As there is an audience of about 120 people, all speakers talk into microphones.
