This conversation takes place among international students who are at the beginning of an study exchange period in Vienna. They meet in a Viennese restaurant and talk about a broad range of topics, such as beer, public transport, the euro, language, cultural peculiarities of their respective home countries, difficulties in adapting to an Austrian way of life, movies, visas, and hooligans. The exchange organization arranged the meeting for international students to meet and get to know each other. As it is the first week of the semester, almost all the students meet for the first time. Most of the time several conversational threads run in parallel. S2 and S3 talk a lot about the information sheets they are filling out for the recording.
