The purpose of the meeting is to improve both internal and external communication, thus affecting the dissemination of knowledge within the universities but also information exchange with the umbrella organization. S7 seems to chair the proceedings but does not appear to be in a dramatically higher position in the network's hierarchy than her colleagues. She has to deliver a report on the outcome of this meeting afterwards. There is no clear agenda although at the beginning S7 'distributes speaking rights' by calling the speakers by their names so that they introduce themselves and the status quo at their office. As becomes during the interaction, the others may interrupt her at any point though. Most of the speakers have obviously met before and, generally speaking, the atmosphere can be described as more or less relaxed."@en;
